Here is a restaurant that gives you a couple of very different atmosphere options. Dine outside under the trees and trellises in the Garden Patio at the Calistoga Inn & Brewery. Or eat indoors, where you get the hustle and bustle of an old fashioned inn/restaurant – the building is 90 years old. The outdoor setting is truly lush – it gives you feel of real California laidback luxury. However, the indoor area is cozy and charming, and graced with interesting antiques. All year round, the inn serves homemade brews from their own award-winning Napa Valley brewing company. These include Calistoga Pilsner,Wheat Ale, Red Ale and Porter.
The Calistoga Inn focuses on regional dishes, with special emphasis on fresh fish and good old American barbecue. Great starter plates include Dungeness crab cakes and mustard-crusted Ahi. You can get flat bread pizza, a Tillamook cheeseburger, sausage fettuccini or seafood pasta. And more main entrees, turkey meatloaf, Yankee pot roast, Flat Iron steak, and Atlantic salmon are among the several choices available. Some great side dishes are the mushroom risotto and roasted winter squash casserole.
