If
you’re looking for a luxurious dining atmosphere, check out
Brannan’s Grill. It reminds one of the men’s clubs
of days gone by, with plenty of dark wood, lamps on tables, big
booths and dark lighting. There is even a large fireplace displaying
a big game trophy on one wall, and it’s surrounded by a mural
of an outdoor scene.
True to its hearty image, Brannan’s offers hearty food. Lunchtime appetizers include baby back ribs and oysters on the half shell. Salads aren’t just called salads – they’re called “Big Salads” – among these is a delicious chicken Piccatta salad. Lunch entrees include a smoked Gouda cheeseburger, wild salmon lasagna, gnocchi and a barbecued pork sandwich, among other tasty selections.
If you try dinner at Brannan’s you can get many of the appetizers featured on the lunch menu, but also an oven baked polenta tower, and a combination of calamari and rock shrimp. Dinner salads include a delicious Asian pear selection. Many dinner entrees are “from the grill” – try a thick-cut pork porterhouse, the grilled Harris Ranch ribeye, or the filet mignon. There are also several other dinner specials available, such as the Wild King salmon, Yellow Fin tuna, braised rabbit and braised lamb shank. Brannan’s also features an award-winning wine list.
